NOTE WELL:

I don't have a computer at home and hence are currently using the ones in the labs. I could not dowload fraps properly as it would not open up out of my hard drive, hence why I'm still using print screen to upload images from UT4. I will try to solve this problem this week.

In addition, when I tried to work on the template map for EXP2 provided, As soon as I'd edit something, the background would be destroyed and no matter were I put the player to start, as soon as I started playing, he would just die. So this is why my UT4 EXP 2 environment images below are not based with your template background provided. I also hope that this week I can work out what exactly I am doing wrong and hence fix the problem.

week 4 lecture - video

I chose this video as it visually defines my word chosen which is SCULPTURE. THESE VARIOUS SCULPTURES SHOWN IN THIS VIDEO DEPICT THE EDGY ROUGH SHARP QUALITIES THAT IS MODERN SCULPTURE AND HENCE I TRANSFFERED THE SAME QUALTIES OVER TO DESIGNING THE LOWER GALLERY FOR ARTIST SWALLOW. ENJOY THE VIDEO

SKETCHUP-WEEK 3 INCL. ARTWORKS

PICCININI
The material used in the above artwork by Piccinini is paint on a canvas. This artist has used his brush and colours well to portray a sense of photographic art. It’s very realistic with a great depiction of lights and shades with a very realistic use of colours. The disgusting rodents contrasted with the very sexy blonde naked female depict the artist’s deep imagination.

SWALLOW

The material used in the above sculpture is wood. The method in which this sculpture was made was by carving away at a block of wood with certain carving tools. The scull in the centre was carved out separately and placed in position. A lot of detail has been placed into the contours and curves of the wooden beam bag making it seem in motion and very realistic. The skulls position also gives this sculpture its sense of realism at it has sunk into the soft beam bag.
