What is power? Power takes many names:
For Steve Jobs, Power is defined as Innovation; to innovate; to be the founder; to be the innovative leader of the industry, to outsell competitors and be the head of the game. Volume is not the game in this form of power.
Power is politics; to intimidate and challenge the image of the competition to build up and emulate yours; to be admired by all in the White House; to cheat business partners.
Power is intimidation; whether it be a soldier, the mafia, a leader or an empress; the strength of your intimidation defines your image; he or she who momentarily retracts their claws will loose their look, their image, their power.
For Donatellow Versace, Power is defined by sex. Power of a woman, independent, her femininity, her image and knee high skirts outsell masculinity.
Power is determination; to defy hardships; to build up image; to be busy; to be the best; defy challenges and innovate strategies that work; to be hopeful; too busy to look, hear or even be comfortable.
For Zang Yin, Power is defined by money; to be wealthy; the richest person on mainland; to have many assets; richer and richer and richer.
Power is image; whether you are a founder, a leader, an innovator, an empress, the best polititian, the richest, the mafia, it is image that sets you apart. To be power is to be known. To be the best. To have a large profile.
Power may have many faces but shares the same outcomes: Success, respect, status and control.
